Oppressed Eye Candy

In the entry-a-day surge in December, and even in some earlier entries, I touched on this subject just barely, but today I was thinking about a few connections.

In this entry, if you don’t mind, I shall cry out “Pervert!” at a few people. Who? Well, they’re people very often called perverts. Specifically they are middle-aged to old men who find teenage girls, specifically those aged 14 to 17, to be sexually arousing.

Though it may have this same end result, I call them out for it for quite different reasons from others.

What’s the voting age? I believe it’s 18. Oh, I wish I had an actual case study for this hypothesis of mine. It would be sweet. But I shall have to make do with some estimated projections and assumptions.

Let’s pretend we gather a lot of these over-40 men who are into underage girls. We’d need to reserve the entire state of South Dakota! Might want to reserve North Dakota as well, safe to assume we’d need the space for all of them. Screw it, throw in Minnesota. Anyway, we’ve got these legions of men with the same guilty little pleasure of thinking devious thoughts, and perhaps doing devious things to themselves, while watching a movie or looking at a picture of Emma Watson, the Olsen Twins, Hilary Duff, or other popular young attractive female. Yeah, I know the Olsen Twins and Hilary Duff are over 18 now, but let’s say back when they were under that age. But all of these girls are past puberty, so it’s not like they’re into anyone biologically immature here.

However! Let’s ask every one of these men their feelings on lowering the voting age. What do you think their answers would be?

“What! Teenagers are too immature to be voting! They don’t know about politics. They’d only vote for celebrities. They’re stupid. They need to be kept under control. They’re just children!”

Interesting. Let’s ask them a few more questions. What might their feelings be on a teen’s rights in the home?

“Parents need to control their teenagers. These kids are all taking drugs and carrying weapons and being sexually active. Their internet access must be monitored at all times. Their phones calls must be screened, and their rooms must be searched. They aren’t entitled to privacy. They need to be spanked. They have no rights.”

Interesting. One more. I wonder how they feel about the rights of high school students in school?

“Schools need to drug test all students. They must be required to wear uniforms. Students should not be permitted to speak or say something the administration disagrees with. Their lockers and cars must be searched.”

You get the idea. While, yes, I’m just guessing at the answers, I think it’s safe to say well over 50% of these men would probably ascribe to all three of the above views. Definitely all the ones who are in South Dakota at least, and perhaps many of the ones in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa (which had to be reserved at the last second because of such high numbers of 40+ men who are aroused by teenage girls).

So, basically, these men who derive sexual feelings from teenage girls also believe that these same girls, by virtue of their age, are “just children” and “must be controlled”. You know, at first they don’t seem like pedophiles because technically these girls are physically sexually mature, and aren’t children. But then you find that they do in fact consider those 17 and under to be children. So when they have these sexual desires for these girls whom they believe to be stupid children who need to controlled in every aspect of their lives, yeah, I’d go right back to calling them pedophiles. Some kind of deranged pervert anyway.

Interesting they might also complain that these underage teens are “sexually active”. Funny how them being sexual of their own accord is a sin, but nothing wrong with them being sexually objectified by men old enough to be their fathers or grandfathers. Incestuous rape fantasy much?

Anyway, recently I mentioned some rather controlled aspects of a young person’s life, namely the V-chips, school uniforms, and, back in November, the scanty Halloween costumes thing. In the latter, I mentioned how, when I was a teen, I had a hard time finding clothes that weren’t in some way revealing more than I wanted to. A problem which seemed to vanish without a trace once I became an “adult”. Basically, the teen wardrobe, dictated almost entirely by adult fashion designers, was almost entirely sexually suggestive. And, of course, the teen wardrobe is just another aspect of youth culture that teens are somewhat trapped in, isolated from adults. Why, the teen girl section and adult women’s section are even separate, even though the actual sizes of clothes are about the same. I mean, I know there’s nothing actually stopping a teen from shopping in the adult women’s section, and vice versa, but it’s more the expectation, the idea of what’s for what age group. And what we have is that teen girls are supposed to look sexy while adult women don’t have to.

So, in summary, the expectations of a teen girl are essentially “you’re better seen and not heard, you’re not a full human, you’re your parents’ property, you’ll just whine about shallow crap, now just sit there and look sexy while I pleasure myself to you, but don’t you dare like it or even know about it”.

And seeing as the youth rights movement would essentially give these teen girls equal status in our society, it’s no wonder these men are so against it. We’re taking away their sick sadomasochist fantasy. We’re taking away their real-life inferiors. We’re taking away their makeshift pedophile dreams. How? By making these teen girls not subservient beings but on the level of dignity of adult women, to be listened to and not to be controlled. It’ll be back to their porno mags for these deviant assholes!

(all the above could still be said for older women and teenage guys, so don’t bother to point that out, wasn’t trying to be anti-man with this)
