Was just thinking about a search phrase that hit the Fortress back in April.
“saying sure why not rude?”
You know, I can picture it now. Some insecure piss poor excuse for a parent asked their kid a question, to which the kid answered “Sure, why not?” Then they were no doubt punished for being “rude”.
This is something parents just have to get over. They practically shit themselves when their kids say or do anything that even begins to leave the category of subservient. Look at some of the rules there are for kids. No swearing. No talking back (whatever the hell that even is!). No saying no. No taking too long to respond when the parents ask a question. The list goes on. And it’s disgusting.
Look, dumbasses. I’m getting so sick of your whining because you feel like your kids don’t respect you. There is a difference between being respectful and being subordinate. In fact, requiring subordinance is a great way to destroy respect being given willingly. But given your actions you probably don’t care about that. All you care about is your ego. All you care about is your ego being safe from being totally owned by people you consider to be your inferiors.
If you’re that much a sack of shit, don’t be a parent. The world doesn’t need more children brought into the world for the sole reason of being shit on so their parents can feel good about themselves.
