SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

Okay, so the media and commentators have been shitting themselves over Britney Spears’s 16-year-old sister being pregnant. We all know that a teenager being pregnant is like the worst sin in the world for some reason, but now it’s all over the mind-numbing celebrity news. For that reason, I’d leave it alone, but then again, kind of a youth rights issue, so I have to chime in.

\nJamie-Lynn Spears is the same age as one of my grandmothers was when she married my grandfather, who was well into his twenties. She’s one year younger than my mom was when she married my dad, and three years younger than my mom was when she had me. She’s three years older than Juliet was in the famous Shakespeare work. She’s anywhere from the same age to four years older than a girl impregnated by GOD to bear a guy whose birthday we’re celebrating next Tuesday.<\/p>\n

So, yeah, what’s the problem here? I’m not seeing how anyone can really be calling her a child here. Especially seeing as the ability to get pregnant is pretty much nature’s way of saying rather boldly “NOT A CHILD!”<\/p>\n

The girl’s rich and her family is supporting her in this, as is the baby’s father. She’ll be fine. So what’s the problem?<\/p>\n

Sure enough, everyone wants to find a problem. Even the most liberal progressive commentators are condemning the girl as immoral, as a sinner. How dare she, an “underdeveloped child”, become a parent?<\/p>\n

Oh, please! If she’s underdeveloped and inexperienced, it’s because you people go out of your way to keep people her age from gaining any development and experience, yet at the same time blame THEM for the lackthereof.<\/p>\n

Also, she’s an immoral sinner, she is? Excuse me? Motherhood is a sin? She’s becoming one the exact same way every other mother becomes one! It’s an unplanned pregnancy and she’s not married? Um, yeah, funny how you don’t hear much criticism of older women for doing that these days!<\/p>\n

Pull your heads out of your asses, people! We’re supposed to be over this already. We’re supposed to not ostracize people like this over our silly conceptions of morality. Get over the idea that you have to look down your nose at a girl who becomes a mother earlier in life than people think she should be. As if those people have any stake in this whatsoever.<\/p>\n

Instead, the girl is ridiculed. She’s not congratulated for her pregnancy. If Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston got pregnant, even out of wedlock and unplanned, the news reports would be somewhat congratulatory. For Miss Spears, it is a scandal. Where’s her well wishes? All you people care about is pointing fingers at her because she wound up in a situation that violates your moral sensitivities.<\/p>\n

And what about the baby? That’s right, that little one in her womb is a baby just as much as the filling of any other pregnant chick’s uterus. A baby who will gestate and be born and be an adorable brand new baby in this world. Who SHOULD be welcomed. But, instead, you people view him\/her not as a cute baby but as a disease contracted by an immoral teenage girl. What has this kid done to deserve such a label? Why must he\/she be born not to open arms but to jackasses thinking his\/her father should be in jail because he\/she exists?!<\/p>\n

Stupid adults and their cliques, that’s what it is. They think they can look good to each other by trashing a teen girl who is going to be a mother soon, without a single thought as to why they trash her in the first place. Sickening, fickle people. And to think they blame teens for this behavior.<\/p>\n
