Well, that was something. Another year gone. Time for another recap!<\/p>\n

January:<\/b> Viewer Discretion Is Advised<\/p>\n

-Better change my address after lots of laziness.
\n-Ooh, possible job. All the way in Frederick, though.
\n-Mmmm, almond cookies.
\n-Why does Downton Abbey have a viewer discretion warning? There’s never anything racy or violent in it…
\n-Oh. That’s their way of saying “trigger warning” I guess.
\n-Cat ran away! \ud83d\ude41
\n-Volunteering at WES. Because unemployed and bored.
\n-I made chili! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

February:<\/b> Backwards N Thing<\/p>\n

-Making chili and guacamole and cookies for Superbowl.
\n-Prep ran long. Did I miss kickoff?
\n-Aww, I missed a safety?!
\n-Winter Olympics in Sochi!
\n-Ooh, US women’s hockey is about to take Gold against Canada…
\n-FUUUUUUU- They remembered they’re from a country whose capital is Washington DC. :irked:
\n-Didn’t get other suggested job, but got interview for another one with same company but much closer location!
\n-And I got it!!! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

March:<\/b> 37 Cents Per Ounce<\/p>\n

-Ski night!
\n-French brunch thing.
\n-New job!
\n-So many trainings and SOPs to read.
\n-Lego Movie!
\n-More snow!<\/p>\n

April:<\/b> Existentialism<\/p>\n

-Huh. The lab doors unlock each other.
\n-Brookside on Easter Sunday!
\n-Philosophy discussion lunch. Followed by fajita dinner. Fun day!
\n-Hendrik and Sasha visiting DC! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

May:<\/b> Next Door<\/p>\n

-I shouldn’t have said that.
\n-Where’s my birthday cake? Everyone else got a birthday cake.
\n-Oh, I finally got it a couple weeks later. Okay.
\n-Trip to New York sounds great… just not with my family. :irked:
\n-Wow, hotel room right above World Trade Center site.
\n-Good thing I came. My family couldn’t steer themselves around this city for anything. \ud83d\ude44
\n-Holy crap, this sauce is spicy!<\/p>\n

-Fruit salad has no business being spicy

\n-I think I’ll go to… Ugh, it’s too hot to drive anywhere. Stuck in so much traffic.
\n-Memorial service for dad’s aunt with lots of distant relatives I never see.<\/p>\n

August:<\/b> Red Trail<\/p>\n

-Welp, I’ve gotten myself addicted to GeoGuessr again.
\n-Smithsonian with little brother
\n-Every Simpsons ever!
\n-Nats game! \ud83d\ude00
\n-Finally successfully went to Calvert Cliffs for Day 100.<\/p>\n

September:<\/b> Photospheres<\/p>\n

-Mmmm, Middle Eastern Bazaar…
\n-Perfect 25000 score in GeoGuessr!
\n-To Baltimore with little brother! To Aquarium and other stuff!<\/p>\n

October:<\/b> Wild Pitch<\/p>\n

-Nats are in playoffs!
\n-And lost badly. Sigh. :irked:
\n-Winter Festival rehearsal time!
\n-There’s a trick-or-treater dressed up as the Eleventh Doctor!<\/p>\n

November:<\/b> Windmill<\/p>\n

-Sugarloaf climb!
\n-Auction night! I’m a devil! \ud83d\ude00
\n-A drunk devil.
\n-Big Hero 6! I’ve seen a lot of movies this year.
\n-Wait, why aren’t they playing Christmas Canon much in the Christmas music lineup this year? :irked:
\n-Almond cookies! Trying to get it just right.<\/p>\n

December:<\/b> Give Us Hope<\/p>\n

-Shoulder hurts.
\n-Holiday potluck at work. I think I’ll make hummus.
\n-I put a lot of chopped parsley into the hummus. Now it’s green. It looks like guacamole.
\n-Got to bake lots of cookies for Cookie Walk!
\n-And dress rehearsal.
\n-And Washington Ethical Society’s Winter Festival. I’m Pandora! And my little brother’s a prince!
\n-And I get to pull the Hope banner!
\n-Cookie Walk! There are my cookies! \ud83d\ude00
\n-Trans-Siberian Orchestra! Damn, Verizon Center is packed!
\n-Dinner with Victoria!
\n-Time for Christmas shopping. Oy.
\n-Running around at work giving Christmas chocolate to coworkers!
\n-And finally… Christmas Eve. And Day.
\n-For New Year’s Eve, saw Mockingjay in movie theater.
\n-And now I’ve posted an entry every day in December!<\/p>\n

With 2014 about to be in the books, it leaves a few things dangling. Though I suppose every year should, what with the arbitrary nature of when we determine when a year ends and a new one begins. The next year could prove very quickly to be great or another let-down. I guess, of course, that remains to be seen. We’ll see if I have more to say this time next year. Or at least something more interesting.<\/p>\n
