Alright, everyone. Time again to sing!<\/p>\n

*taps conductor stick thingy*<\/p>\n

Said the night wind to the little lamb,
\n“Do you see what I see?”<\/i><\/p>\n

Ah, the wind is bored and feels like playing I Spy.<\/p>\n

“Way up in the sky, little lamb.
\nDo you see what I see?”<\/i><\/p>\n

I’m sure the small ovine appreciates the hint.<\/p>\n

“A star, a star, dancing in the night,
\nWith a tail as big as a kite,
\nWith a tail as big as a kite.”<\/i><\/p>\n

Oh, sure, give it away before the lamb has a chance to guess.<\/p>\n

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy,
\n“Do you hear what I hear?”<\/i><\/p>\n

And the shepherd replied with “holy shit, a talking lamb!”<\/p>\n

“Ringing through the night, shepherd boy.
\nDo you hear what I hear?”<\/i><\/p>\n

Is it just that night wind playing I Spy with other random critters?<\/p>\n

“A song, a song, higher than the trees

This simile is silly to me.<\/p>\n

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king,
\n“Do you know what I know?”<\/i><\/p>\n

Translation: Boy skips into the palace all chanting “I know something you don’t know! I know something you don’t know!”<\/p>\n

“In your palace, oh, mighty king.
\nDo you know what I know?”<\/i><\/p>\n

If this king is supposed to be Herod, then shepherd boy you’ve got a lot of blood on your hands.<\/p>\n

“A child, a child, shivers in the cold.
\nLet us bring him silver and gold.
\nLet us bring him silver and gold.”<\/i><\/p>\n

Or a coat or a blanket or something of immediate need for cold people.<\/p>\n

Said the king to the people everywhere,
\n“Listen to what I say!”<\/i><\/p>\n

Pfft. Everyone thinks their own words are so important. Get a Twitter account!<\/p>\n

“Pray for peace, people everywhere.
\nListen to what I say!”<\/i><\/p>\n

What a useless statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n
