So I raise my glass and say “Here’s to you, suitcases!”<\/b><\/p>\n
Allow me to specify. See, I’m getting ready for a trip across the country. So I pulled out my wheeled suitcase that my aunt gave me as a graduation present three years ago. Dusted it off and opened it up. Damn this thing as a lot of pockets. I remembered it did, but there’s like zippers everywhere. And even more hidden zippered pockets inside those. And even more in those! Goodness.

\nOf course, since this will be my first flight since I’ve had this thing, I felt compelled to actually check all of the pockets. Took only a few minutes, but still a lot of them. You know, to make sure the manufacturers didn’t leave some deadly item in some hidden pocket that I’d have to somehow explain to airport security personnel.<\/p>\n
Have I ever mentioned that Dulles airport rules? Everyone seems to hate it, but I like it. Haven’t been there in a while. Like all airports, I expect to see some sort of construction going on somewhere, since I think it’s a law or something that every airport must have at least some section in a state of perpetual construction. Wouldn’t be surprised.<\/p>\n
So, yes, I will be flying. Yay! I like flying. Just want to ask that nobody shoot down my plane or anything. I like, you know, being alive. So does everyone else on the flight I’m sure. So hijackers and whatnot? Go fuck yourselves.<\/p>\n
And me? Onto NYRA Annual Meeting 2006! \ud83d\ude0e<\/p>\n
